Outcrops Although there are few outcrops in Castile and Leon with dinosaur fossil remains, the quality of the discoveries made to date underlines their great importance. Most of them are located in Burgos and Soria provinces with additional ones in Segovia and Palencia. The quality of fossils found in the area of Salas de los Infantes (Burgos) makes it one of worldwide interest for palaeontologists.

Costalomo This outcrop is one of the most important and spectacular of Castile and Leon.	Mambrillas Carnivorous and herbivorous dinosaur footprints are present in La Pedraja outcrop, in Mambrillas de Lara.	Oterillo One of the few outcrops in Spain where an articulated skeleton of a Sauropod occurs (being excavated).	Tenadas de los Vallejos II This outcrop is the only one in Europe where remains of a Rebaquisaurid dinosaur have been found.
